I got....
a lovely old round mirror.
An oddity, which I'm going to transform into a post box for up the allotment.
It will be useful for leaving spare seeds, notes, cards etc for friends up there.

I love rumaging through skips. Trouble is that we all do, and end up with a house full of 'stuff'

Excellent finds, I love making finds like that, they make the house more homey.
I totally approve ... a little while back I went for a nice walk with a mate and we came back with a brand new loo seat, a load of wood for his wood-burning stove, and some very nice tiles.
All good recycling!
